Ex-Krrish Director Janaki Siriwardhana Remanded Again

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Krrish Company director Janaki Siriwardhana was further remanded until November 20 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.

The case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.

Although Namal Rajapaksa was granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on November 3 in relation to this matter, he remains in custody over the Airbus Scandal case currently being heard before the Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar in Colombo.

The court also ordered that he be produced before court on the next hearing date.

The case has been filed under several charges, including allegations that Namal Rajapaksa received Rs. 70 million as a bribe from Krrish Company, where Janaki Siriwardhana served as a director.
