"Civilians are also stuck in an elevator" - MP Vidura Wickramanayaka

Colombo (News1st): UPFA Parliamentarian Vidura Wickramanayaka held  a media briefing at the Horana party office today (Feb 8). He said yesterday a wonderful incident happened in Parliament when a group of MPs were trapped in an elevator. MP Wickamanayaka said there will be a proposal to reinstall all electric elevators but a commission will be added. He said they talk about getting trapped inside the elevator while the Government is squeezing the necks of the civilians. He pointed out that the estate workers are requesting for Rs. 1000 and the Government was unable to meet their request. But he noted that they talk when the MPs get stuck in the elevator. He noted that the civilians are also stuck in an elevator and they will cut the rope off of that elevator soon and then that elevator will fall.
