Cabinet meeting concludes

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister Gayantha Karunathilake confirmed that all of the cabinet papers submitted by the Ministry of Finance at the cabinet meeting held today (January 02) were approved. Responding to an inquiry made by a journalist whether approval was also granted to prepare the budget, the Minister repeated that all the cabinet papers submitted today had received approval. The Minister spoke to the media following the inaugural cabinet meeting for the year 2019 held today (January 02) at the Presidents office.
