No-confidence motion should follow due process - Rambukwella

Colombo (News 1st) - MP's supporting the government had a meeting at the Prime Minister's office this morning. MP Keheliya Rambukwella addressing the media stated that the cabinet and the Prime Minister was appointed in order to serve the country and that they should be allowed to do so. He stated that if the opposition brings a no-confidence motion following due process and the government loses it, they will take the position of the opposition with no issue. He goes on to state that the speaker, Ranil Wickramasinghe, and  Sumanthiran are being controlled by foreign forces which has ultimately led to the country's chaotic situation. S. B. Dissanayake stating that the opposition must first accept the government, put out an order paper and add a no-confidence motion to it. He stated that there is no other way.
