COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 15-member expert committee has been appointed to formulate a national policy on medical education in Sri Lanka.
The committee will be chaired by Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake.
Ministry Secretary Nalaka Kaluwawa stated that the expert committee was appointed in recognition of the strategic importance of strengthening medical education to meet national needs.
