1000 Eco-friendly buses for SLTB

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Cabinet approval has been granted for a proposal by the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Nimal Siripala de Silva to import 1000 Eco-friendly buses to the Sri Lanka Transport Board. Through the proposal 250 fully electric buses and 750 hybrid buses have been ordered in collaboration with a Hungarian Company. This was revealed to the public by Co-Cabinet Spokesperson, Min.
