COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Leader of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Parliamentary Group, R. Sampanthan has said, the TNA is yet to make a final decision on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

He attributed the delay in taking a decision on the no-confidence motion to the ongoing appointments of Heads of Local Government Authorities.

Speaking in Jaffna today, TNA Member of Parliament E. Saravanapavan, hinted at the party's stance.

He said that according to SLFP if Ranil Wickremesinghe is victorious in the no-confidence motion, they will not remain in the government.

Further, he stated that therefore, they will pay special attention to this since a government without a two-thirds majority has no advantage in fulfilling our needs.

In spite of the views expressed by MP Saravanapavan, there are questions regarding whether certain MP's in the TNA have adopted the common position.
