2027 School Term Schedule Released

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Education has issued a notification on the school term schedule for 2027.

Accordingly, the first term for Sinhala and Tamil-medium schools will run from January 4 to April 9, 2027.

The second term will be from April 26 to July 30, 2027.

The third school term will run from August 30 to December 3, 2027.

Meanwhile, the first and second terms for Muslim schools are scheduled to be conducted in several phases.

The 2027 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to be held in August, while the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination is scheduled for December 2027.
