Four Training Modules Introduced for Dhamma School Teachers

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs has introduced four training modules to provide formal training for Dhamma school teachers.

Deputy Minister Gamagedara Dissanayake said the programme aims to address the declining attendance of students at Dhamma schools.

He added that, under the first phase, qualified lay and clergy resource personnel have been recruited at the district level to conduct teacher training.
