Navy Commander’s Cup 2026 Begins In Trinco

COLOMBO(News1st); The Sri Lanka Navy's annual Commander’s Cup International Sailing Regatta 2026 is set to get underway in Trincomalee tomorrow, bringing together sailing athletes from six nations for one of the country's premier international maritime sporting events. 

The prestigious regatta, being held for the sixth consecutive edition, will feature competitors representing Bangladesh, Italy, China, India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

The official media partner of the tournament is the Maharaja Media Network.

The opening ceremony of the event was held today under the patronage of Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage, who marked the commencement of the international competition.
