Rumesh Tharanga Eyes Commonwealth Crown

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Rumesh Tharanga today qualified for the final of the men's javelin throw event at the Commonwealth Games.
He secured his place in the final after producing a throw of 82.84 metres in today's qualification round.
Rumesh is currently ranked second in the world in the men's javelin throw event.
The final, featuring the Sri Lankan star, is scheduled to begin at 12.45 a.m. on August 1.
