COLOMBO (News 1st); Trinity College, Kandy, secured a commanding victory over traditional rivals Royal College, Colombo, winning the second leg of the 80th Bradby Shield Rugby Encounter 39-10 at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium today.

Having entered the second leg with a 23-point advantage after a 33-10 win in the first leg, Trinity continued their dominant form to seal the prestigious Bradby Shield with an impressive aggregate score of 72-20.

Royal College struggled to contain Trinity’s attacking momentum as the Kandy outfit produced a clinical performance, crossing the try line on multiple occasions to establish control of the encounter.

Despite Royal’s efforts to fight back, Trinity maintained their composure throughout the match, extending their lead and securing a convincing 39-10 victory in the second leg.
