Philippine Woman Arrested At BIA With Kush Worth Over Rs. 60 Million

COLOMBO (News 1st): A Philippine national woman has been arrested by the Bandaranaike International Airport unit of the Police Narcotics Bureau with a haul of Kush narcotics valued at over 61.8 million rupees.

Police say that the woman was arrested with 6 kilograms and 180 grams of Kush during a raid conducted at the arrival terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport early this morning.

The person arrested is a 63-year-old woman.

The Airport Unit of the Police Narcotics Bureau is conducting further investigations into the incident.
