Faculty of Science of UoC To Conduct Online Classes For One Week

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Faculty of Science at the University of Colombo has decided to conduct academic activities online for a period of one week, starting tomorrow.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Indika Karunathilake said that the decision was taken in consideration of requests made by students amid the prevailing dengue situation.

However, no decision has been made to close the university.

The Vice-Chancellor noted that all staff members must report to work as usual. 

Furthermore, all university hostels will remain open.

Previously, it was decided that academic activities for the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Education, and the Faculty of Management would be conducted online for a one-week period, starting from the 9th of July.
