Old Bogambara Prison Re-Established As Prison Facility

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An Extraordinary Gazette Notification has been issued re-establishing the Old Bogambara Prison as a prison facility.
The gazette was issued by Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara.
Prisons Spokesperson A.C. Gajanayake said that arrangements will be made to transfer inmates there after strengthening security measures at the facility.
Meanwhile, an Extraordinary Gazette Notification was also issued the day before yesterday (07), designating the premises of the old Mahamodara Hospital in Galle as a prison facility.
This gazette was also issued by Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara.
