Four UoC Faculties To Conduct Online Lectures For One Week Over Dengue Risk

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The University of Colombo has decided to conduct lectures online for four faculties for one week starting today (09).

Vice Chancellor Professor Indika Karunathilake said the decision was taken in view of the ongoing spread of dengue virus.

He said the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Management and Finance will conduct their academic activities online during the period. 

He noted that the university will not be closed.

Professor Karunathilake added that all staff members are required to report to work as usual, while all university hostels will remain open.
