Special Dengue Control Drive Continues Across Western Province

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Dengue Control Unit says the special dengue control programme being carried out across the Western Province remains in operation today.

The initiative is being coordinated by the Clean Sri Lanka initiative under the Presidential Secretariat as part of ongoing efforts to curb the spread of dengue.

Acting Director of the National Dengue Control Unit, Dr. Kapila Kannangara, said legal action has been initiated against 220 premises identified as mosquito breeding sites during inspections conducted over the past few days.
