Bus Fares To Be Revised From July 06

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Transport Commission (NTC) says that bus fares will be revised from July 06. 

Director General of NTC Nilan Miranda stated that fares for ordinary bus services covering distances under 100 kilometers will increase by 12%, while fares for ordinary services traveling over 100 kilometers will see a 20% increase.

Additionally, luxury bus service fares will be adjusted, with a 12% increase for trips under 100 kilometers and a 15% increase for those exceeding 100 kilometers.
