COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Public Health Inspectors Union of Sri Lanka says 18,129 Dansals have been organized this year to mark the Poson Full Moon Poya Day.
Its Treasurer Prasad Munasinghe says that steps will be taken to temporarily or permanently shut down Dansals that are found to be operating in an unsafe manner.
He further noted that public health inspectors will carry out inspections to ensure food safety standards are maintained during the Poson period.
