Police To Seize Noisy Motorcycles During Poson Season

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Police say motorcycles producing excessive noise during the Poson festival season will be seized.
Deputy Inspector General of Traffic Control and Road Safety W. G. J. Senadheera said officers have been instructed to immediately take such motorcycles into custody and produce them before courts.
He also noted that around 1,000 motorcycles were seized during the Vesak festival season for similar offences.
