Police Seize 12kg Heroin Hidden in Homagama House Following Suspect Interrogation

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police have seized 12 kilograms of Heroin that was hidden inside a house in Delgahawatta, Homagama.

The raid was carried out by officers of the Western Province North Crimes Division.

Police said the operation was launched based on information revealed during interrogations of a suspect who was previously arrested on April 19, with crystal methamphetamine (“Ice”) and Heroin.

The suspect, a 42-year-old resident of Homagama, is currently being detained under a 90-day detention order and is being further interrogated.
