Sri Lanka Fast-Tracks Cybersecurity Integration Across Key State Institutions

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Digital Economy says that a decision has been taken to accelerate cybersecurity measures across 25 key state institutions.

Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Eng. Eranga Weeraratne stated that these institutions will be integrated with the National Cyber Security Operations Center, which was established last year.

The Deputy Minister noted that although Cabinet approval had previously been granted to connect 37 institutions to the system, only 12 have been linked so far.
