Auspicious Times for Resuming Work and Planting Trees Set for the New Year

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The auspicious time to set out for duties following the Sinhala and Tamil New Year falls today, April 20th.

According to astrological guidelines those returning to work were advised to set out for duties at 06:27 AM facing South in White attire, consuming milk rice and sweets. 

For those engaging in agricultural or gardening activities, the auspicious time for planting trees is scheduled for later this week on Thursday, April 23rd. 

The Auspicious Time is set out at 09:01 AM, it is recommended to wear Golden attire and conduct rituals facing the North.
