Sirasa TV Oil-Anointing Ceremony Held at Historic Olaboduwa Raja Maha Vihara

COLOMBO (News 1st) - This year, the Sirasa TV oil-anointing ritual was conducted at the historic Olaboduwa Raja Maha Vihara.

The ceremony was held under the guidance and blessings of the Chief Incumbent, Venerable Olaboduwe Dhammika Thera.

With the participation of a large gathering, the oil-anointing ritual was carried out at the auspicious time.

During the ceremony, oil anointing was also performed for elephants, in keeping with traditional customs.

The ceremony held at the historic Olaboduwa Raja Maha Vihara were further enriched with a variety of cultural performances.
