SLSEA Urges Daytime New Year Celebrations To Conserve Power

COLOMBO (News 1st);The Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA) is requesting the public to limit New Year festivals and parties to daytime hours.

The Chairman of the authority, Professor T.M.W.J. Bandara, said that this notice is being issued with the aim of conserving electricity while carrying out essential activities.

Furthermore, the Sustainable Energy Authority advises the public to ensure that office electrical appliances are switched off during the holidays of the festive season.
