Health Ministry Issues Post-Internship Appointments for Over 400 New Doctors

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Health and Mass Media has released the station list for 436 new medical officers yesterday (08), following their applications for post-internship appointments.

According to the Ministry, these medical officers are required to report for duty at their assigned government hospitals or health institutions across the island between today (09) and the day after tomorrow (11).

The Ministry of Health emphasized that the recruitment and placement process was conducted with full transparency. 

The Ministry noted that the appointments were made based on the preferences submitted by the applicants, the official Merit List and the urgent medical needs of various regions across the country.
