Special Transport Services Launched For Festive Travel

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Transport Commission (NTC) has announced that special transport services will commence today for people traveling to their hometowns for the upcoming festive season.

Its Director General, Dr. Nilan Miranda, stated that these services will remain operational until the 20th of April. 

He further noted that the services will include expressway operations as well as intercity long-distance services.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) said that it plans to launch special New Year transport services starting from tomorrow.

Special train services have also been organized for the public traveling to their homes for the New Year.
