Water Supply Suspended for Dehiwala and Surrounding Areas

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced that supply of water will be suspended today in several areas, including the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Council, Moratuwa, Rawathawatta, and Soysapura.

Accordingly, supply of water will be suspended from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for five hours.

The water cut is underway due to a power outage at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) advised residents in the affected areas to collect and store sufficient water in advance.
