Police Arrest Drug Suspect In Balumgala: Ice And Heroin Seized

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect transporting drugs in a car was arrested in Balumgala, Keppetipola.

Police say that during a quick roadblock vehicle check, 245 grams of ICE and 206 grams of Heroin were discovered in the car.

The arrested individual is a 44-year-old resident of Thummodara.

Police added that investigations have revealed his involvement in a drug trafficking network operating across multiple areas, which was reportedly organized through social media.
