50% Police Promotions Completed; Remainder From This Month

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala says that 50 percent of promotions for police officers have already been granted adding that the remaining 50 percent of promotions will commence this month.
The Minister made these remarks during a special discussion with police officers in the Ratnapura District.
He further noted that steps will be taken to provide electric motorcycles to police officers at a subsidized price.
