Foreign Minister Meets Bremen Mayor to Discuss Trade and Tourism Collaboration

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath, met Dr. Andreas Bovenschulte, Mayor of Bremen, at the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Bremen City Hall (Bremer Rathaus).

Posting on X, Minister Herath said the discussion focused on how Bremen, which is a centre of industries including automotive, trading and logistics, could explore emerging opportunities in Sri Lanka.

The meeting also highlighted the potential for increased collaboration in Sri Lanka’s tourism sector, given its growing popularity in Germany.
