ID Offices Open Today for GCE O/L Students to Obtain Identity Confirmation Letters

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department for Registration of Persons says their offices are open today to assist students appearing for the 2025 GCE O/L Examination.

The department stated that only letters confirming national identity card information will be issued.

The head office in Battaramulla, along with provincial offices in Galle, Kurunegala, Vavuniya, Batticaloa, and Nuwara Eliya, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today.

Students can also download the confirmation letters from the official DRP website at www.drp.gov.lk.

School applicants who have not yet submitted their identity card applications are required to bring a completed application form certified by the Principal or Grama Niladhari, along with the relevant supporting documents.
