O/L Tuition Classes and Seminars Prohibited from Midnight Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Examinations has announced that all tuition classes related to the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination will be banned from midnight today.

The ban will remain in effect until the conclusion of the examination and will include subject-related lectures, seminars, workshops, and all forms of promotional activities.

The examination will be held from February 17 to February 26, across 3,545 centers islandwide.

The Department says legal action will be taken against anyone who violates the directive, and the public can lodge complaints at the nearest police station, via the 119 Police Emergency Hotline, or through the Examinations Department’s 1911 hotline.
