LAUGFS to Begin Islandwide Gas Distribution

COLOMBO (News 1st); LAUGFS Gas PLC announced that steps will be taken to distribute a consignment of 7,000 metric tonnes of LP gas across the island starting from tomorrow (7).

The company said the gas shipment was brought to the Hambantota terminal, which had been closed following the impact of Cyclone Dithwa.

Meanwhile, Litro Gas Company stated that the total requirement of 35,000 metric tonnes of gas needed for the month of April has already been received by the country.

Litro further assured that distribution activities across the island are continuing without interruption, as authorities work to ensure a steady supply of LP gas to meet public demand.
