High Court Filed Against Chamara Sampath

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption today informed the Colombo Magistrate’s Court that indictments have been filed before the Colombo High Court against former Minister Chamara Sampath Daasanayake, in connection with a corruption allegation.

The case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.

During the proceedings, the Bribery Commission informed court that high court indictments have already been filed against the suspect before the Colombo High Court.

After considering the submissions, the Chief Magistrate ordered the conclusion of the case proceedings before the Magistrate’s Court and directed suspect Chamara Sampath Daasanayake to appear before the Colombo High Court upon receiving summons.
