Illegal Devices Found Inside Boossa High-Security Prison

COLOMBO (News 1st); A joint search operation at the Boossa High-Security Prison has led to the discovery and seizure of multiple communication devices believed to have been in the possession of inmates, prison authorities confirmed today.

The operation was carried out by the Prison Emergency Response and Tactical Unit together with the Police Special Task Force (STF), following intelligence alerts regarding unauthorized electronic devices inside the heavily guarded facility.

During the raid, officers seized:

Two mobile phones
Two hands-free devices
One SIM card
One mobile phone charger
One data cable
