Special Transport Services in place for Thai Pongal Celebrations

COLOMBO (News1st): Authorities announced that special transport services are in operation for the Thai Pongal festival to ensure a smooth journey for those traveling to their hometowns.

T.H.R.T. Chandrasiri, The Deputy General Manager of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), said that additional bus services have been deployed to several cities, including Hatton, Nuwara Eliya, and Badulla.

The National Transport Commission (NTC) say that special transport services have been arranged from the Bastian Mawatha Long-Distance Bus Terminal and other main cities.
