Body Found Floating Off Colombo Coast Recovered

COLOMBO (News1st): An unidentified dead body that was discovered floating in the seas off Colpetty and Bambalapitiya has been recovered and brought ashore.

Police says that the body has been placed at the Bambalapitiya Police mortuary. 

Following a notification by the police, a Navy diving team and a naval vessel were deployed to bring the body to land.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been ascertained.
