Inland Revenue Department (IRD) achieved the Revenue Target for 2025

COLOMBO (News 1st): Inland Revenue Department says that the IRD has achieved the annual revenue target of Rs. 2,203 Billion assigned by the Government for the year 2025 by December 19, 2025. 

According to a statement published by the IRD, Commissioner General of the IRD, Rukdevi Fernando says that this is considered the highest-ever revenue earned by the IRD in its history.

Commissioner General added that steps will be taken to augment it further during the days ahead.
