COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Under-19s are in a commanding position in their first match of the Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai after a brilliant bowling display saw Nepal collapse for just 82 runs.
Sethmika Seneviratne starred for Sri Lanka, claiming a match-turning 5 wickets for 25 runs, dismantling the Nepal batting lineup with precision and consistency. He received strong support from Rasith Nimsara, Vigneshwaran Akash, Dulneth Sigera, and Chamika Heenatigala, who took one wicket each to keep the pressure on.
With this performance, Sri Lanka now needs just 83 runs to secure victory in the match, putting them firmly in control.
