Three Suspects Arrested Over Shooting in Kosgama

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two men and a woman were arrested in connection with the shooting and injuring of a three-wheeler passenger in Boralugoda, Kosgama.

According to police, the gunman who carried out the attack, the motorcycle rider, and a woman who allegedly provided them shelter were taken into custody.

The suspects, aged 31 and 45, are residents of Ruwanwella and Thummodara.

Police said the female suspect, aged 43, is a resident of Thummodara.

Police also seized the revolver and a mobile phone believed to have been used in the crime.

A 40-year-old man was injured in the shooting that took place on the 3rd of December.
