Colombo–Kandy Route Restored: Traffic Flow Resumes

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Road Development Authority (RDA) announced that the Colombo–Kandy Road section between Ganethenna and Kadugannawa will be fully reopened from today. (8th)

Director General Wimal Kandambi said the road was opened to traffic at 7 a.m. this morning.

He added that 219 of the 256 main roads damaged by the recent disaster have now been reopened for vehicular movement.
