Ganetenna to Kadugannawa Police Station stretch suspended for all vehicular traffic

COLOMBO (News 1st); Vehicular movement has been suspended along the Colombo - Kandy road, on the stretch from Ganetenna to the Kadugannawa Police Station.
When inquired from the Kegalle District Secretary, Jagath M. Herath he said that these steps were taken due to the risk of rockfalls in the area.
He said that only ambulances will be permitted to travel along that section of the road.
The Mawanella Police also confirmed that traffic movement has been completely suspended along the stretch from Ganetenna to the Kadugannawa Police Station.
