994 Arrested in ‘A Nation United’ Nationwide Drug Operation

COLOMBO (News 1st);A total of 994 people were arrested yesterday during the 'A Nation United', drug prevention operation.
The police have stated that Detention orders were obtained for 25 suspects.
The total number of raids carried out is 1,000.
During the operation, five individuals have been referred to rehabilitation.
Authorities seized 5kg and 782 g of heroin, 71 kg of cannabis, and 5 kg of Madana Modakaya during the operation.
