'Rawul Kumara's Anuradhapura Drug Distributor Nabbed

COLOMBO (News 1st); Police have arrested a suspect believed to be a key associate of notorious drug trafficker Rawul Kumara, responsible for distributing narcotics in Anuradhapura city.

During the raid, officers recovered 50 grams of heroin and 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine (Ice) from the suspect’s possession. 

In addition, Rs. 20,000 in cash, allegedly earned through drug sales, was seized.

Investigators also discovered a notebook containing details of secret storage locations for heroin, which is now in police custody for further analysis.

Police confirmed that Rawul Kumara, who faces multiple drug-related charges, is currently being held at Boossa Prison.
