Sri Lanka Dominates SAAF Athletics 2025 With Four Medals

COLOMBO (News 1st);Sri Lanka’s Chamod Yodhasinghe won the gold medal in the men’s 100m event at the SAAF Senior Athletics Championships 2025, finishing in 10.3 seconds.

Sri Lanka’s Shafiya Yamik clinched the gold medal in the women’s 100m event with a time of 11.5 seconds.

Both events concluded with new tournament records.

Sri Lanka’s Amasha de Silva secured the silver medal in the women’s 100m event, finishing in 11.7 seconds.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s Pasindu Malshan claimed the gold medal in the men’s triple jump event.

This year’s South Asian (SAAF) Senior Athletics Championships is being held in India.
