12 Indian Fishermen Arrested in Delft Sea

COLOMBO (News 1st) - 12 Indian fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy off the coast of the Delft Sea in Jaffna.
The Indian fishermen were taken into custody along with their vessel while they were engaging in fishing activities violating Sri Lanka’s maritime boundaries.
The arrested fishermen are scheduled to be handed over to the Directorate of Fisheries in Kankesanthurai.
