Suspect Linked To Backhoe Saman Drug Network Arrested In Suriyawewa

COLOMBO (News 1st):An accomplice of organized criminal "Backhoe Saman," who is currently in detention, has been arrested in Sooriyawewa.
The arrest was made during an operation conducted by the Tangalle Criminal Investigation Division.
Police confirmed that a 9mm pistol, narcotics, and a van that were in the suspect's possession were impounded.
The Police had also discovered a bank account in the suspect's name with 3 million rupees.
The suspect is a 39-year-old resident of Sevanagala
