Vehicle Seized in Drug Chemical Investigation in Middeniya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The police have taken into custody a vehicle belonging to Sampath Manampperi, who is reportedly evading authorities, in connection with the discovery of chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine on a plot of land in Middeniya.

The vehicle was found in a garage in Embilipitiya and is now under police investigation.

Meanwhile, former Provincial Councillor Piyal Senadheera of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna is currently in police custody in relation to the discovery of these chemical substances.
