Wife of Alleged Crime Boss Remanded Until Sept 18

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sadhika Lakshani, the wife of alleged organized crime figure Backhoe Saman, has been remanded until September 18 following her appearance before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court this (4) afternoon.

The suspect was produced before Magistrate’s Court after being taken into custody by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on August 29, where she was subjected to extensive questioning in connection with ongoing investigations.
